Hootsworth’s Questions & Answers

Can an employee sue you for hostile environment without the "protected" characteristics?

Thanks for your question and while anyone can file a lawsuit, the lawsuit will lack merit and be subject to an early dismissal if it does not allege a protected characteristic as the basis or trigger for the hostile work environment.
