Authenticity and belonging are cornerstones of a healthy and positive workplace culture. Yet, all too often, employees of color feel that they need to hide their heritage and white-wash their culture in order to belong at work. Hispanic and Latinx culture vibrant and their influence reverberates through the United States and beyond. When cultivating a healthy workplace culture, it's crucial to train employees on acceptance, and create space for employees of Hispanic and Latinx heritage to be their most authentic selves.

This microlesson aims to celebrate Hispanic Heritage and demonstrate appreciation for the differences we all bring to our teams. It is also a reminder that we should all strive to be our authentic selves and avoid code-switching if at all possible.
