Sales Development Representative

A Sales Development Representative will develop sales opportunities by identifying new customers, driving increased awareness of Emtrains educational courses, library and learning management system, and managing incoming marketing leads, as well as generating self-generated appointments for the sales team. Emtrain has a significant and strong customer list and a wide variety of existing clients and prospects, all eager to learn more about Emtrain’s solutions and heightening awareness of workplace issues with their employees. What you’ll do

• Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing new sales opportunities

• Follow up on inbound inquiries generated through Emtrain's website, marketing campaigns and sales programs

• Maintain call volume of 50-75 calls per day with the intent to qualify leads and create pipeline growth for the emtrain sales team

• Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested

• Monitor social web for sales opportunities and leads

• Conduct concentrated sales campaigns

• Report on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative

• Champion Emtrain culture through personal behavior.

• Maintain and protects operations by keeping information confidential.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who you are

• 0-3 years of sales experience

• Prior Sales development experience a plus

• Experience with, and passion for, the learning industry and technology in general

• Experience with use of customer relationship management databases, specifically Salesforce.com

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented atmosphere

• Strong verbal and written communications skills

• Some sales and/or phone experience is desirable

• Some experience working in software or business-to-business environment is desired but not necessary

• MS Office knowledge including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Candidates who are successful in the position will be highly-motivated and task-oriented
