About Tracy
Tracy Cote currently serves as Chief People Officer for StockX, where she leads the global human resources team, which encompasses training and leadership development, engagement, total rewards, and talent recruitment functions. Tracy Coté previously served as chief people officer and subsequently as an advisor at Zenefits. She relentlessly focuses on improving the employee experience, builds strong teams, and brings the best out of others while getting things done.
Before joining Zenefits, Tracy was part of the leadership team at Genesys, where she made a strong impact, doubled their revenue and scaled from 1800 employees to over 5,000 in over 50 countries, providing progressive leadership at the executive level through a time of massive change, including multiple acquisitions, organic growth, and a transformation from premise to cloud while evolving the employee brand to effectively reflect the culture and draw and retain top talent. Prior to Genesys, she was the VP of HR for MobiTV, Inc. and also led all of Organic, Inc’s HR programs worldwide.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in English from Sonoma State University, she was also a member of the faculty at San Francisco State University for over 10 years, where I enjoyed demystifying HR for a new generation of HR leaders in their Human Resources Management Program. Tracy is also an active contributor to Forbes via their HR Council platform.
