Practice De-Escalation Skills Before Conflict Escalates
Conflict rarely begins with a major incident. It often starts with frustration, a misunderstanding, an emotional reaction, biased behavior, or a difficult interaction that someone does not know how to handle.
This learning track includes 15 skill-focused Microlessons that give employees practical techniques for navigating these moments. Each Microlesson is a short, 3–5 minute training focused on a specific workplace situation or skill, making it easy to reinforce healthy workplace behaviors throughout the year.
Employees learn how to use positive language, manage frustration, respond instead of react, practice empathy, gather the facts, navigate bias, support a struggling co-worker, and intervene when they witness problematic behavior. Dedicated intervention lessons also teach employees when and how to Delay, Delegate, Direct, Distract, or Document.
