Ty is a graduate of St. John’s College (Annapolis, MD campus) and a serial entrepreneur. He credits the background of his family’s varying commercial enterprises and liberal arts education for his diverse commercial interest and abilities. Ty has seeded and profitably grown businesses in specialty contracting and light manufacturing.

After many years of serving as a business advisor, in 2010, Ty formally joined Emtrain as its first sales leader and then later its first COO. Then, in 2017 to make room for the next level of management, Ty stepped down from leading Emtrain operations to join the Emtrain Board.
