Employees perform best when they feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work. But stereotypes, bias, or lack of support often force people to hide who they are. This microlesson provides skills training to help employees respect authenticity, reduce barriers, and create a culture of inclusion and trust.
Microlesson Description
In this microlesson, we explain how a new mom at work may have a need not met by the workplace, making it hard for them to be their authentic self at work. We can increase awareness of others' needs by listening and tapping internal and external resources to create a more inclusive workplace. We illustrate how we can help each other respectfully and how to advocate for a person's needs.
