Practice Respect, Empathy, and Social Awareness
Everyday interactions can quickly become uncomfortable when people are under stress, misunderstand another person’s perspective, or react without considering how their behavior may affect someone else.
This learning track includes 6 skill-focused Microlessons that help employees build greater social awareness and respond more thoughtfully to co-workers and customers. Each Microlesson is a short, 3–5 minute training built around realistic workplace situations employees can recognize and apply to their own interactions.
Employees develop skills for respecting differing values, listening with empathy, using emotional intelligence, responding instead of reacting, communicating with positive language, and de-escalating tense situations.
Several lessons feature retail and customer-facing scenarios, making this track especially useful for organizations where employees regularly interact with customers and need to manage stressful or emotionally charged situations professionally.
